Dear FKCS Members & Families
The Charity Race in the final stages of planning and we have many exicting activities for everyone.
Currently we have some AWESOME donations that will be going up for auction during the event which includes:
- Impact helmet signed by Richard Petty
- Guitars signed by Country Stars Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift
- Lithographs signed by Michael Schumacher, Paul Tracy and others
Mark your calendars for this grand event.....details are coming shortly....
We are planning for a silent auction as well so we need YOUR donations. Services like driving coaching, mechanic work, and others can all be auctioned with proceeds going to benefit Victory Junction Gang Camp.
Please contact Todd Kovi at toddfkcs@comcast.net with donations or if you wish to volunteer.
Awards Banquet
The awards banquet is scheduled for the Saturday evening on October 4th at a location in Ocala. We will be releasing information and posting registration information on the website....this is going to be another fine event hosted by FKCS and OGP.
Remember: TOP 5 FINISHERS in each class that completed 4 races are eligible for awards. Additionally we will have goodie bags, raffles and some other BIG surprises to go along with the awards.

Dear FKCS Members & Families
Over the past year we have made many changes and continue to work on more so that we can improve the series, communication to our members and public, and provide a more professional racing environment.
Gary Osterholt, owner of GO Designs and our webmaster, has been working on our website re-design for the last few months. We are now pleased to announce that the greater part of the website re-design has been completed and now operational.
We thank Gary for this great job and will be working to fine tune and provide additional improvements throughout the next season.
Thanks

June 12 2008 - FKCS Board
Dear FKCS Members & Families
FKCS is proud to announce the organization selected to benefit from our 2008 Charity race will be the Victory Junction Gang Camp, founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty.
The benefit event is currently scheduled to coincide with our 2008 Season Awards Banquet both of which are scheduled for October 4 and 5 at Ocala Gran Prix, located in Ocala. We have combined the 2 events in the interest of containing costs. With a VERY GENEROUS offer by Jorge / OGP to donate the use of the track and concession karts, we are planning an event that will rival anything in years past. Our goal will be to generate a substantial donation for VJGC through the efforts of FKCS members, sponsors, the karting community and general public / spectators. We have many ideas but cannot do this alone. Therefore we are forming a Charity Race Committee whose responsibility will be the planning, organizing and execution of the event. We are interested in the especially those members that have experience in promoting / marketing, advertising, event management, communications, and administrative functions….of course anyone that wants to get involved….we can always find something for you to do as October will be upon us before we know it. We would also like to hear from anyone that could volunteer time during the event or donate goods / services (e.g. tents, tables, pavilion, displays, signs, banners, flags, etc.).
Todd Kovi will be acting as Committee Chairman for the event so if you are interested in participating please contact him as soon as possible. Our goal is to identify a committee before the last race in July. If you cannot participate in the Charity Race Committee but have suggestions for the event, please forward those to toddfkcs@comcast.net or any of the other board members on the contact page.
